Super Freaky (the kind you don't take home to mutha)

National Geographic has photos of this squid from a mile and a half down in the Gulf of Mexico. The photos were taken by a Shell Oil remote controlled vehicle.



Pretty odd. I think it looks like one of the face-huggers from Aliens.

it does have a Queen alien face hugger vibe to it. yikes.

they say scientists know more about the moon and space than they know do about the earth's oceans.

who knows what's down there.

Yeah. I think its the jointed limbs that gives it the alien feel to me.

I think you're right - the deeper we go, the weirder it could get.
